The Jazz Performance of the GP organization is a varied and interesting experience for all. We regularly perform as a quartet but if a smaller ensemble is required a trio or duo is available. The Jazz Ensembles will play favourite jazz standards such as Blue Monk, Straight No Chaser etc. to very mellow blues grooves and funk tunes. We also play special requests with notice.

These ensembles have two aspects to them; one is to play at functions such as dinner functions or art exhibition openings, where there is a need for quiet excellent background music. Secondly, at jazz clubs and pubs we perform more “full on” jazz. Again this is at an acoustic level unless it is a bigger venue. The “jazz duo” is available where space is particularly limited.
