Harty Room at Queens

The Harty Room is in the Music department of Queens University Belfast. (music.qub.ac.uk) . On the 22nd of November 2002 Grunt Productions and the Powerhaus project descended onto this venue for a night of acoustic level music ranging from Jazz, Funk and Jungle.

This is the 16 channel desk and protools setup at Queens which we used. This was a joint project with NDAI technology students. Many thanks to the Queens music department for the use of their equipment.

The microphone setup was basically a stereo pair in front of the stage and one or two in front of each section of the band. As none of these mics were used for sound reinforcement they were positioned purely for sound quality.
