	--Glencraig Improvisations--
	The Iota (formally the GP Ensemble) recorded this CD in 2002. Recorded direct to a two track recorder. The modes used as the basis for improvisations include a Japanese scale, Hungarian minor etc. No more musical preparation was entered into. Thanks to the Glencraig Community for the use of the hall and the Steinway Grand Piano.

	This CD was recorded with kind permission at The Downpatrick Cathedral, Downpatrick, Northern Ireland. Harry Whalley on the organ, Mark Buckingham woodwinds, recorded by Max Buckingham. Included is Bach's Ciaccano recorded in the Cathedral.

All these products enclose a CD, which contains piano grooves and the Grunt Production band on five tracks. This is a series of books that have been designed for young and beginner musicians to learn to improvise. The title Jammin’ the Blues is very apt. The books carefully take students through the blues scales, which are the basis of the blues and jazz playing. The enclosed CD then offers players an opportunity to really practice improvising. Ravel’s String Quartet CD also available

This was the first score completed, if you know the Quartet you'll understand why it was chosen. For string players it is very difficult piece to play let alone perform, so for clarinet players it is a very serious challenge. It has been arranged for two Bb, alto and bass clarinets. Similar in voicing to the string quartet. It is true to Ravel's score, there has been no rearrangement of the parts.

The third MB Publication arrangement is the Paganini 24 Caprices. Both the clarinet and saxophone player will find these a real challenge.

Transfigured Night

The second MB Publication arrangement is Schoenberg's Transfigured Night For String Orchestra arranged for Clarinet Choir. This was an immense challenge. The piece has been arranged from the orchestra score for Eb, 2x Bb, 2x Alto, 2x Bass and Contra Alto or Contra Bass Clarinets

Farrago is a collection of work compiled from analogue tapes by Simon Yorke (link) over the past 20 years in collaboration with Mark Buckingham. The variety of music is vast, ranging from highly individual playing by Simon on electric guitar with drones, to an esoteric bass clarinet solo. Already a collectors item in the vinyl world, due to its analogue bias and the musical world for its uniqueness. Only available on double vinyl
